New Jersey Women Playwrights Program | Pannonica in Damascus by Yasmine Rana | Saturday January 25 2025 | 7:00 pm

An African-American Jazz Trumpeter and a young Syrian Jazz Flautist meet for the first time on the Santa Monica pier. They know each other well, yet not at all. What will they do? What can they do? A play about  the impossible burdens family, society, and custom can often place on us, and keep us far from the ones we love.
