For eight years (2011-2018) the Madison-based professional theater company Writers Theatre of New Jersey partnered with the Borough of Madison Recreation Department to present 15 Summer Musicals for both younger and older Madison-area residents. Under special arrangements with Actors Equity, professional actors often performed alongside the students.
Join Us! reunites some of the regulars of those musicals, as well as a couple of those professional actors in an evening revue of songs from the shows performed.
