Spring Ahead into The Arts - Fridays on Waverly Place

All events are FREE to the public downtown on Waverly Place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  Bring your own chairs.  Be sure to stop by one of the local restaurants to get some food and drink to enjoy during the events.

April 9- “Future Stars of Madison” featuring guitarist/MHS Junior, Nick Amling, and the musical theatre students of MHS

April 16- Mama D & the Vexations, high energy band playing hits from the 60’s through today keeping you moving all night long

April 23- Stand-Up Madison featuring the comedy of Eric Kirchberger and Ellen Karis, the “Greek Goddess of Comedy”

April 30- Hatchet Jack, Madison-based rock band playing the 70’s classic blues and rock of the Allman Brothers, Bad Company, ZZ Top, Santana, and more

May 7- Renegade Jazz Band with Let’s Swing NJ, big band and standards PLUS swing dancing

May 14- ARTS By The People:  Across the Platform, a literary “open mic” for new, early and published poets and spoken word authors

May 21- Rosewood, popular Madison-based band featuring classic pop/rock with music of the Beatles, Eagles, Pretenders, Squeeze, Doobie Brothers, and more

May 28- “Americana” Morris Plains Community Band, big band celebrating Memorial Day with the music of Broadway and patriotic pride
