The New Contemporary – A Concert of Music Composed by David Williams, Michael DeMaio, and Maestro Robert W. Butts
Featuring pianist Nan Childress Orchard, violinist Alyson Whelan, guitarist Stanley Alexandrowicz, soprano Nicole Rideout, tenor Eric Sparks, flutist Laura Ferraro, oboist Nancy Vanderslice, and bassoonist Andrew Pecota.
The Senior Center of the Chathams presents a morning of original one-act plays and monologues written in a workshop led by Anthony Caruso. Admission is free, registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Performance begins at 10:30.

Bill Mays Trio will feature tunes from his newest album, Autumn Serenade .
Pianist Bill Mays has recorded 40 albums as a leader, but his newest, Autumn Serenade , released in May on the Sunnyside label, may be his favorite. And, it reunited him with the other two members of a trio that played with Gerry Mulligan in the 1980s – bassist Dean Johnson and drummer Ron Vincent.
Mays will be playing several selections from Autumn Serenade along with some new original compositions, mostly written by Mays during Covid.
