Green Home Energy Forum | Madison Environmental Commission | Thursday April 20 7:00 pm

Madisonโ€™s Green Home Energy Forum will help residents incorporate energy efficiency and sustainable strategies at home. Local experts will talk about everything from solar panels and heat pumps to weatherproofing and indoor air quality. Residents will be on hand to share their experiences with home energy audits and green home renovations. The forum, organized by Madisonโ€™s new Climate Action Committee and Madison Environmental Commission, is designed so residents can plan energy updates to save money while improving home health and comfort.

โ€œOver 60% percent of Madisonโ€™s carbon footprint comes from our buildings so updating our homes is critical to achieving our climate goals,โ€ says Kirsten Wallenstein, event organizer and a member of the Madison Environmental Commission and the Climate Action Committee.
